Henry Berry Obituary

Henry Staley Berry age 76 of Clarendon passed on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Lifecare Angel House in Whiteville. Final rites were held at 4:30 pm Sunday July 28, 2019 at Worthington Funeral Home. He was the son of the late Henry Benjamin Berry and Mary Ellen Scott Berry. Mr. Berry honorably served his country in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. Mr. Berry was employed in the tax preparation service and for many years was employed in the tobacco industry working as a ticket marker in the Burley and Flue Cured markets. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Miriam Hughes Berry of the home; and a sister, Elizabeth Aniva Berry.
