Helen Frances Wooton, age 88 of West Bladen Assisted Living in Bladenboro passed on Sunday, November 26, 2017. Final rites will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Donald Conway and Reverend Jim Skinner officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lake Waccamaw. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday at Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was the widow of Edgar Wooton and the daughter of the late Nina and Angelo Vitalone. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara E. Schwartz (Al) of Egg Harbor City, NJ, Nina Wright (John) of Hallsboro; seven sons, John Edgar Wooton (Barbara) of Atco, NJ, Anthony E. Wooton of Roanoke Rapids, Allen J. Wooton of Mars Hill, Paul K. Wooton of Titusville, FL, Edgar K. Wooton (Jackie) of Danville, VA, Bret W. Wooton (Tina) of Mars Hill, Jerry L. Wooton (Grace) of Carneys Point, NJ; her sister, Lara Medoro of Winslow, NJ; 29 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family.
