Helen Louise Wright Carroll

Helen Louise Wright Carroll, age 86 of Whiteville went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Lifecare Center in Whiteville. Final rites will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Thomas Fairfax officiating. Interment will follow in Whiteville Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. She was the widow of Henry Fulton Carroll and the daughter of the late Anna Louise Wilkes Wright and Robert Burns Wright, Sr. She was also preceded in death by two children, Deborah Jean Worley and Robert Lewis Carroll. She is survived by a brother, Robert Wright of Dunn; grandchildren, Jewell Renee Dew and wife, Shelly Renee Dew, Christopher Allen Dew and wife, Stephanie Jett Dew, Larry Dewayne Dew. Jamie Barnhill, Jeremy Bolton, Nicole Jean Stewart and Karen Cox; great-grandchildren, Summer Marie Britt, Coty Allen Strickland, Hope Ashley Britt, Brandi Nicole Reynolds, Christopher Allen Dew, II, Christopher Blake Strickland, Kayden Marie Dew, Whitney Goins, Cameron Blackwell, Raelynn Tedder, Serenity Tedder, Zander Stewart, Valora Cox and Saber Cox; great-great-grandchildren; Peyton Reynolds, Dawson Jones, Briley Strickland, Camden Goins, Presleigh Stephens, Aubreyella Reynolds,
