Grady Freeman, Jr.

Grady Freeman, Jr. age 81 of Bladenboro, peacefully went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton. Born and raised a native of Bladen County, he was the son of the late Grady Freeman, Sr. and Daisy Singletary Freeman. Also, preceding Grady in death is an infant daughter, Kathy Ann Freeman. Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Galeed Baptist Church Sanctuary, with Dr. Mack Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday Morning from 10:00 until 11:00 at the church, prior to the service. He was a proud member of the United States Army Reserve and the National Guard. Survivors include his beloved wife, Nannie Pearl Collins Freeman of the home; one son, Tony Lee Freeman and wife, Anne Marie of Raleigh; two step-children, Terry McPhatter Williams and husband, Bill of Bladenboro, Karen Mintz Skipper and husband, Johnny of Leland; four siblings, Doris Clark of Bladenboro, Hilda Jordan of Whiteville, Mary Jane Hester of Bladenboro, Betty Lennon of Evergreen, eight grandchildren, Michael Williams, Brandy Williams, Michelle Williams, Zachery Mintz, Jaymie Mintz, Shelby Skipper, Kaitlyn Freeman, Harrison Freeman, and five great-grandchildren, Brooke, Alexis, Isaac, Hunter, and Gannen. Worthington Funeral Home is serving the family.
