Gary Haynes Obituary

Gary Dean Haynes, age 53 of Cerro Gordo went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst. Final rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Worthington Funeral Home with Dr. Ray Lundy officiating. Interment will follow in the Haynes Cemetery. The family will receive friends 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday (prior to the service) at the funeral home. He was the son of Betty Carol Strickland Haynes and the late Clyde Haynes. Gary was employed by Lee Electric for 30 years and later by East Coast Electrical for 5 years. In addition to his mother he is survived by a daughter, Heather Renee Haynes of Nichols, SC; a brother, Gregory Haynes of Cerro Gordo; a granddaughter, McKenlee Haynes; and a special friend, Martha Lewis of Shannon.
