Frances Marion Huggins

Frances Marion Locklear Huggins, age 68 of Lillington and formally of Chadbourn, met her Savoir on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Emerald Health and Rehab Center in Lillington, NC. Born on March 4, 1950 in Marion, SC, she was the daughter of the late Eddie Oxendine and Ellen Viola Locklear. She was also preceded in death by three siblings, Leona Deal, James Elbert Locklear and Linda Faye Covington. Final rites will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Ricky Burnett officiating. Interment will follow in Cherokee Chadbourn Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 PM on Sunday at Worthington Funeral Home. She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 23 years, Roger Huggins of the home; a daughter, Jolynn Burnett (William Stewart) of Fuquay Varina; a son, John Burnett (Penny) of Angier; a sister, Earlie Mae Todd of Hallsboro; step-daughter, Patricia Cromartie and her husband, Michael; an honorary aunt, Olivia Mauney of Lumberton; grandchildren, Kristy Burnett-Williams and husband, Rommie Williams of Garner, Heather Burnett and spouse, Brandon Smith of Cary, Hillari Burnett and spouse, Joseph Beckwith of Lillington; Kiona Burnett of Clayton, Hannah Ray of Angier and four other grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
