Faye Moore Obituary

Faye Reece Kinlaw Moore, 82, departed from this world on April 28, 2018 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence, South Carolina surrounded with love from her family. Faye was born on April 17, 1936 in Lumberton, North Carolina. She graduated from Lumberton High School; graduated from McLeod Hospital Medical Technology program; attended Newberry College and graduated from Pembroke State University. Most of her adult life Faye lived in Bennettsville, SC and Chadbourn, NC. She decided to spend her retirement years in Little River, SC. Over her career she was employed as a Medical Technologist at Marlboro General Hospital and for Dr. David McInnis in Bennettsville, SC; Southeastern Regional Hospital in Lumberton, NC; Robeson County Health Department in Lumberton, NC; Columbus County Hospital in Whiteville, NC and the City of Whiteville Wastewater Treatment Plant. Faye was a member of the Pilot Club of Bennettsville SC, Bennettsville United Methodist Church, later Chadbourn Methodist Church, and most recently Little River Methodist Church in Little River, SC. She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Kinlaw, originally from Lumberton, NC; her mother, Carleen Yates Kinlaw Sufnar of Chadbourn, NC; and her former husband and father of her children, Russell Earl Moore, of Bennettsville, SC. Left to cherish her memory are her three children: Donna Cutrell (Robby) of Fair Bluff, NC; Michael Moore (Christy) of Florence, SC; and Jenny Moore of Little River, SC. Three grandchildren: Justin Cutrell (Amanda) of Carolina Shores, NC; Bradley Cutrell of Florence, SC; and Carlee Moore of Florence, SC; and one great grandchild, Anna Claire Cutrell of Carolina Shores, NC born just 2 days before Faye€™s death. A graveside service is planned for 3:00 p.m.Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at Piney Forest Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Todd Padgett. Pall Bearers were cousin Raymond Butler, grandsons Bradley and Justin Cutrell, and longtime family friends Wade Marshburn, Anthony Rhodes, and Andy Robinson. Services provided by Worthington Funeral Home of Chadbourn, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of her to McLeod Hospice House in Florence, SC or Fair Bluff Baptist Church in Fair Bluff, NC
