Eunice Inez Lambert Horne

Eunice Inez Lambert Horne age 90, of Chadbourn went peacefully to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at her residence. Final rites will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Willard McPherson, Reverend Jeff Cully and Reverend David Crumpler officiating. Interment will follow in Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. 8 p.m. on Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. She was the widow of Charles Floyd Horne and the daughter of the late Daisy Hanna Lambert Todd Lambert and Robert Oley Lambert. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Hoyt Lambert, Presley Lambert and Lula Lambert Batcher. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Robert Charles Horne, Jr. and a great-grandson, Matthew Long. She leaves to cherish her memories, three children, Elouise Horne Watkins (Sammy), Robert Charles "RC" Horne and Debbie Horne McKeithan (Michael Sellers) all of Chadbourn; two grandchildren, Vicky W. Long and Angela H. Walters; great-grandchildren, Christian Walters and Christopher Long; great-great-grandchildren, Heavyn Long, Kaylyn Long, Izabella Long and Madison Long; and three grand-dogs, Charlie, Rocky and Sassy. The family would like to thank the following caregivers for their loving care given to our Mother during her time of illness, Samanth Williamson, Lori Horne, Dawn Priest, Candace Butler, Brenda Tedder, Mrs. Errie Smith, Cynthia Smith, Cookie Elmore, Anitta Powell and Sheilia Batten; and a special thanks to Roy Bryant. Memorials may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Angel House, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472 or to Chadbourn Baptist Church, 504 Howard Street, Chadbourn, NC 28431
