Eunice Pierce Long Floyd, age 85 of Chadbourn passed on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery with Reverend David Crumpler officiating. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family. She was the daughter of the late Royal and Bessie FormyDuval Pierce. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Ralph Orbert Pierce, Thurston Columbus Pierce and Royal Vail Pierce. She is survived by four children, Noah David Long of Chadbourn, Donald "Donnie" Royal Long of Asheboro, Danny Pierce Long of Chadbourn and Pamela Lynn Long of Swansboro; two brothers, Wade Sylvester Pierce of Fayetteville and James DeLane Pierce of Lithia, FL; three grandchildren, Penny Long Grainger, Heather Long Malkin and Adam Long; a great-granddaughter, Ella Malkin. The family will receive friends at her sons residence, Danny Long located at 2231 Joe Brown Hwy.
