Elmer Boswell Obituary

Elmer Clinton Boswell age 79, of Chadbourn passed on Monday, April 09, 2018 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Lifecare Center in Whiteville. Final rites will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Worthington Funeral Home with Reverend Chip Hannah and Reverend Charles Hilburn officiating. Interment will follow in Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home. He was the son of the late Thelma Lee Smith Boswell and George Elmer Boswell and the husband of the late Paula Faye Milliken Boswell. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Faye Boswell Caulder. Mr. Boswell was employed by International Paper and retired with 30 years of service. To cherish his memory he leaves three granddaughters, Brandy Caulder Soles (Mark) of Chadbourn, Shana Caulder Cribb (Brandon) of Whiteville and Jodi Caulder Ward (Freddie) of Chadbourn; four great-grandchildren, Austin Soles, Jacob Soles, Macelyn Cribb and Brantley Ward; a sister, Betty Strickland of Whiteville.
