Donald Stewart Obituary

Donald Carol Stewart, age 78 of Chadbourn went to be with his Lord on Monday, November 13, 2017 at his residence. Final rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Donald Conway and Reverend Jim Skinner officiating. Interment will follow in Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was the son of the late Emma Jane Godwin Stewart and Johnnie Franklin Stewart. He was also preceded in death by four siblings, Mitchell Gray Stewart, Morris Wayne Stewart, Annie Pearl Stewart and Sandra Bailey. He was employed as a supervisor by Dickerson Construction and Apex Construction in the paving industry for a total of 33 years. To cherish his memory, he leaves his wife of 56 years, Janice Faye Ivey Stewart of the home; daughter, Wanda Carol Stewart McCulloch (David F.) of Lakeland, GA; a sister, Sylvia Pinyan (Curtis)of Chadbourn; two grandchildren, Karen Palmer (Michael) and Laura McCulloch Croft; three great-grandchildren, MaKenzlee Palmer, Harlynn Palmer and Halleigh Croft.
