Crystal McPherson Obituary

Crystal Lynn Leonard McPherson, age 44 of Whiteville, finished her journey here on earth on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. A native of Columbus County, she was born on June 30, 1974 and was the daughter of the late Billy H. Leonard and Dianne Duncan Leonard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joey McPherson and a sister, Sheila Leonard Batten. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn, with Pastor Jonathan Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in the Flynn Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 2:00-3:00 p.m. on Saturday (prior to the service). She is survived by two sisters, Billie Jo Glaesner (Steve) of Evergreen and Nekita L. Simmons of Shallotte; nephews, Jason White (Charlesanna), Nicholas Batten (Amelia) and Kendal Glaesner; nieces, Kim Glaesner, Michaela Batten and Mackenzie Simmons; great-nephews, Isaac Worley, Zachary Batten, Lethan White and Lawson Ray Ivey; aunts, Libby Herring and Ruth L. Duncan.
