Clayton Cliff Obituary

Clayton ONeil Cliff, age 85 of Chadbourn, entered into rest on Wednesday Morning, June 5, 2019 at his, while surrounded by his family. Mr. Cliff was born on January 19, 1933 in Columbus County. He was the son of the late Tommie Mercer and Rosie Cliff Fipps. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Dawsey. A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at China Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Thomas Fairfax officiating. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00, Friday evening at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. Mr. Cliff leaves behind his daughter, Kathy Cliff McKenzie (Lawrence) of the home; siblings, Harold Fipps (Glenda) of Chadbourn, Charles Fipps of Laurel Hill, Peggy Patterson of Lake Norman and Shelby Garrell (Floyd) of Chadbourn. Worthington Funeral Home is serving the family.
