Christopher Jenkins Obituary

Christopher "Chris" Henry Jenkins, age 53 of Cerro Gordo passed on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Lifecare Center in Whiteville. Final rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2,, 2017 at Porter Swamp Baptist Church with Reverend Tim Moore officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Friday at Porter Swamp Baptist Church. He was the son of Doris Lee Bullard Jenkins of Cerro Gordo and the late Henry Dowell Jenkins. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Robin Jenkins. In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann Brooks Jenkins of the home; three children, Christopher Brooks Jenkins, Kylie Lauren Jenkins and Ethan Bryce Jenkins of the home; his brother, Brian Lee Jenkins (Amy) of Whiteville.
