Christine Evans Obituary

Christine Stone Evans, age 60 of Chadbourn passed on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery with Reverend David Crumpler officiating. She was the daughter of the late Estelle Goldia Blackwell Stone and Robert Elwood Stone. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Earl Major Stone. She is survived by her husband, Roy Lee Evans of the home; and three siblings, Evelyn S. Cox (Wayne) of Tabor City, Thelma S. Jacobs (Danny) of Tabor City and Patricia Ann Simmons (Roger) of Nakina.
