Charles Guyton Obituary

Mr. Charles L. Guyton, age 76 of Chadbourn, passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. Mr. Guyton was born on April 13, 1943 in Columbus County. Preceding Charles in death was his father, Rufus Weldon Guyton and his brother, Jimmy Guyton. Funeral Services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Worthington Funeral Home with Interment following In the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Thursday. To cherish his memory, Charles leaves behind his mother, Carlotta Smith Guyton of the home; children, Charles Melton Guyton of Chesterfield, Virginia, Shirl Ann Guyton of Chesterfield, Virginia; siblings, Virginia Guyton and her husband, Jimmy of Chadbourn, Randy Guyton and wife, Missy of Chadbourn; grandchildren, James R. Guyton, Katie Marie Hodges, Sharon Hahn; great-grandchildren, Michael Hodges, Matthew Hodges.
