Billie Pearl McPherson

Billie Pearl Anderson McPherson, age 84 of Clarendon went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 5, 2017. Final rites will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2017 at Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church with Pastor Buddy Seay and Pastor Gary Ledbetter officiating. Interment will follow in the McPherson Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. She was the widow of Dock McPherson and born to Paul Anderson and Elizabeth Nobles Anderson. Raised with love by Gola and Ethel Nobles Stevens. She was also preceded in death by five siblings, Charles Anderson, Mitchell Anderson, Glenwood Stevens, Margie Buffkin and Juanita Grainger. To cherish her memory she leaves a son, Roby A. McPherson (Beth) of Whiteville; two daughters, Pamela M. Hinson of Clarendon and Shelly M Currie (Darren) of Whiteville; her brother, David E. Anderson (Betty) of Columbia, SC; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Beaverdam Original Free Will Baptist Church, 2662 Beaverdam Road, Chadbourn, NC 28431 or to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 206 Warrior Trail, Whiteville, NC 28472
