Ardith June-Virginia Willard Norris

Ardith June-Virginia Willard Norris, age 93 of Whiteville, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 16, 2018 at the Lower Cape Fear Hospice House in Whiteville, surrounded by her family. Born in Winston Salem on February 16, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Allen Alexander Willard and Shellie Rae Hedgecock Willard. Along with her parents, Ardith was preceded in death by husband, Harold C. Norris; siblings, Treb Smith, Mary Walworth, Meb Atkins, and her precious grandson, Timothy Mitch Norris. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Worthington Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Craig Atkins officiating. Interment will follow in the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 Tuesday evening at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. Survivors include her beloved son, Timothy Harold Norris and wife, Sherry of Whiteville; sister, JoAnn Willard Felker; grandchildren, Misti Norris, Anthony King, Austin King, Aaron King; and two great-grandchildren, Kyleigh Norris & Dalton Gibson.
